This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of certain Beechcraft 400A aeroplanes (serial RK-45 and RK-49 through RK-77) to perform wiring corrections to the main circuit breaker panel as set out in Beechcraft Mandatory Service Bulletin 2520 and Service Communique 400-101. It must be done within 25 hours’ time in service from 17 November 1993. The stated purpose is to reduce the chance of an electrical short that could cause fire or smoke in the cockpit; the operator bears the cost and must implement the manufacturer’s instructions.
