Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Beechcraft Model 400/400A/400T aeroplanes to inspect the spoiler mixer bay for drain holes and drill at least one new drain hole if missing, inspect specified sealant and triangular baffles, and carry out any corrective actions before further flight. Compliance is due within 400 flight hours or 12 months after 20 January 2005. CASA issued the AD to address FAA‑reported fuel leaks that could permit fuel/vapour accumulation and a risk of fire; work must follow Raytheon Service Bulletin SB 53‑3486.
