Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

What it does: This AD requires owners/operators of Beech Model 400A aircraft serial numbers RK-1 to RK-92 to replace the aft fuselage fuel drain tube assembly P/N 128-920151-1 with the modified assembly P/N 128-920237-1 following the Raytheon service bulletin, and bans reinstalling the old part. Compliance is required within 200 flight hours of the AD’s effective date (27 Jan 2000).

Why it matters: CASA states the change addresses chafing between the drain tube and the elevator control cable that could cause fuel leakage and fire risk.
