Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of certain Beechcraft 400/400A aeroplanes fitted with specific Allied Signal outflow/safety valves (P/N 103570-25 or -27, listed serials) to carry out the corrective actions in Allied Signal Service Bulletin 103570-21-4012 R1 by 30 March 1998.

It responds to reported valve cracking and failures that could cause rapid cabin decompression; operators fund and schedule the mandated inspections/repairs/replacements, and maintenance organisations must perform the work per the bulletin.
