Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive orders owners/operators of specific Beechjet Model 400, 400A and 400T aeroplanes (listed serial numbers) to modify the standby instrument lighting per Beechcraft Mandatory Service Bulletin 2563 (Feb 1995). The mechanical change ensures the standby lights remain adequately bright if the main electrical power is lost or switched off (for example, during fire or smoke). Compliance is required within 200 hours time in service after 29 February 1996; operators fund and schedule the work.
