This AD requires owners/operators of specified Beechcraft A36/B36TC aeroplanes to have the cabin door upper hinge cavity sealed per Beech Service Bulletin 2437, completed within 50 hours TIS after 10 December 1992. Maintenance providers must perform the work to that standard.

The measure aims to stop water ingress that could short wiring or circuit boards (including landing gear circuits). Costs, scheduling and compliance responsibility fall to the affected owners/operators.
