Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners of Beechcraft Bonanza (Model 36) aircraft to verify and, if needed, retrofit forward stops on first- and second-row rear seat rails to prevent seats from sliding forward. The change prevents passenger injury and potential flight‑control jamming.

It applies to all Beechcraft 36 variants and remains in force (original compliance date July 1973) to ensure continued safety of aircraft still operating.
