Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires Beechcraft Model 35 and 35R aeroplanes (S/N D1–D1500) to have five access doors fitted under the mainplane forward truss and to undergo recurring inspections of the mainplane centre‑section front and rear spar truss per Beech Service Bulletin No. 24 (rev. 5 Nov 1963) or, for aircraft modified by FAA STC SA222CE, per the STC installation instructions. It matters to owners/operators because they must pay for the retrofits and periodic inspections; aircraft with the STC qualify for longer inspection intervals.
