Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires specified Beechcraft Model 33/35 series aircraft (except those retrofitted with anti-slosh main tanks) to have a prescribed fuel-system warning placard installed on the instrument panel and to remove an older caution placard if fitted. Owners/operators must make and certify the placard (letters at least 1/8" high) and comply within 100 hours time-in-service after 29 April 1970. The rule shifts the installation and certification cost and responsibility to owners/operators and changes pilot behaviour by providing a compulsory cockpit warning.
