Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive covers certain Beechcraft Model 33 and 35‑33 aeroplanes fitted with Hydrolock seat‑recline actuators and mandates the inspections/modifications specified in Beechcraft Service Bulletin No. 2175 R1. Owners/operators must complete the work within 100 hours TIS after 3 December 1987 or at the next scheduled inspection for a Maintenance Release, whichever is later. Costs and downtime fall to operators; the AD addresses a reported inadvertent seat‑actuation hazard.
