AD/BEECH 33/28 - Elevator Control Push Rods - CANCELLED

This document officially cancels an old aircraft safety rule that applied to specific Beechcraft aeroplane models (the Debonair and Bonanza series).

What it did: The original rule (issued in 1980) required a one-time inspection of elevator control push rods — the mechanical linkages that move the tail surfaces controlling the aircraft's pitch (nose up/down). Owners had to check these rods for corrosion within 100 hours of flying time after May 1980.

Why it's cancelled: Because every affected aircraft would have completed this inspection nearly three decades ago, the rule is now redundant. This instrument formally removes the requirement effective 10 April 2008.

Who is affected: Owners and operators of Beechcraft 33 and 35-33 series aircraft — though practically speaking, nobody needs to take action since the requirement has already been satisfied by all relevant aircraft.
