Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

What this is: A mandatory safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) for owners and operators of specific Beechcraft Debonair and Bonanza aircraft.

Who is affected: Owners of specific models (35-C33, E33, F33, G33, and variants) with particular serial numbers listed in the document — essentially certain aircraft manufactured during specific production runs.

What you must do: You must inspect and maintain the soundproofing blanket on the hatshelf (the shelf area behind the rear passenger seats) following the exact instructions in Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 0694-311 Revision 1.

When you must do it: Every 100 hours of flight time (what the regulations call "time in service").

Why this matters: Airworthiness directives are legally enforceable safety orders. This rule likely addresses a risk of fire, material deterioration, or interference with aircraft systems. If you don't comply, your aircraft is considered unairworthy and cannot legally fly.
