AD/BEECH 300/19 - Passenger Seat Modification

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of specified Raytheon Beechcraft Model B300 aeroplanes to modify cabin passenger seats to the configuration and part-numbering set out in Raytheon Service Bulletin SB‑25‑3640 (Rev 1). It applies to listed serial numbers and must be done within a set time or flight-hours, with relabelling before further flight. The measure is intended to prevent seat failure under high inertial loads during emergency landings and therefore shifts maintenance, parts and administrative costs onto aircraft operators.
