Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of listed Beechcraft 300-series aeroplanes to inspect for wiring that could interfere with flight controls and, if found, secure components per Raytheon Mandatory Service Bulletin SB 27‑3232. It responds to a reported incident where wiring entangled the control column and temporarily restricted aileron and elevator control. Owners/operators must carry out and pay for the inspection within 25 hours time-in-service after 19 May 1999 and must not fly until any interference is corrected; CASA issued the directive and cites related Raytheon and FAA notices.
