Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of specified Beechcraft Model 19, 23 and 24 serial-numbered aeroplanes to perform inspections of the flap control assembly every ≤100 flight hours until each aircraft is modified per Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 0940 — the modification must be completed before 1 January 1979. It targets a safety issue (see related FAA AD), places costs and scheduling burden on operators, and creates an incentive to complete the one‑time modification to avoid recurring inspections.
