Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of specified Beechcraft 19/23/24‑series aeroplanes (listed by model and serial number) to replace the fuel‑selector guard if not already modified, verify the unusable‑fuel placard, and inspect the selector for freedom and correct shut‑off per Beechcraft service instructions. Compliance actions must occur within 100 hours time‑in‑service, and selector operation checks repeat every 100 hours where applicable. Mechanically it mandates a parts change plus recurring inspections; owners bear parts and labour costs and must schedule the work to avoid grounding.
