Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of certain Beechcraft Musketeer, Sundowner and Sierra (Model 19, 23, 24, specified serials; built ~1962–1976) to have the engine firewall inspected or modified per manufacturer’s Service Instruction No. 0835‑111. The work had to be completed within 100 flight hours after 29 October 1976. It matters because a sound firewall prevents engine fires from spreading into the cabin and protects occupants.
