Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of specified Beechcraft 200-series aeroplanes to inspect the main landing gear drag‑leg lock link to confirm the roll‑pin hole is drilled through both walls, and to replace any link that does not comply. Compliance is mandatory within 100 hours time‑in‑service after 23 May 1996; the action responds to an FAA report linking an incompletely drilled hole to a landing‑gear collapse. Operators bear inspection and replacement costs; licensed maintenance organisations decide how to carry out the work under the maintenance manual.
