Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This rule applies to Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) aircraft and requires two corrective actions to stop water entering the rear fuselage and tail that can freeze and affect safety: apply the manufacturer’s sealing procedure in Service Bulletin 2254, and immediately drill four 5mm drainage holes behind the rear pressure bulkhead.

Sealing must be done by the next scheduled maintenance after 10 August 1989 or within 100 flight hours, whichever is later.
