Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this is: An Airworthiness Directive — a mandatory safety order issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requiring specific fixes to aircraft.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of specific Beechcraft 200 and 200T "Super King Air" aeroplanes. It applies only to aircraft with specific serial numbers listed in the document (covering most early production models from BB-2 onwards, excluding certain numbers, and 200T models BT-1 to BT-4).

What you must do: Follow the instructions in Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 1067 to fix or inspect the forward right-hand cabin service panel retainer (a bracket that holds a service panel in place inside the cabin).

Why it matters: The panel could shift position and block the emergency exit door, potentially trapping passengers during an evacuation.

Deadline: Complete the work within 100 hours of flight time after 31 October 1979.
