What this does: This safety order mandates a specific inspection or repair of the rudder control system on certain Beechcraft aircraft.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) series aircraft with serial numbers BB-2 through BB-38.

What must be done: Carry out the actions specified in Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 0882.

When: Within 100 hours of 'time in service' (flight time) after 30 June 1977.

Why it matters: The rudder is the vertical control surface at the tail that steers the aircraft left and right. This directive ensures the rudder system operates safely to prevent loss of directional control during flight.
