What this does This instrument cancels an existing Airworthiness Directive (a mandatory safety rule) that previously required owners of Beechcraft 200 Super King Air aeroplanes to inspect the vertical stabiliser—the tall fin at the back of the aircraft—for loose rivets every 100 flight hours. The original rule allowed operators to stop these inspections after completing 800 hours, but this new instrument removes the requirement entirely.
