Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

What this is: An Airworthiness Directive (a formal safety order from the aviation regulator) requiring owners of specific Beechcraft 1900C aircraft to inspect and fix missing wing fasteners.

Who it affects: Operators of Beechcraft 1900C airliners with specific serial numbers (UC-2 through UC-13, UC-15 through UC-17, UC-19, UC-20, UC-22 through UC-45, and UD-1 through UD-6).

What you must do: Follow the instructions in Beechcraft Mandatory Service Bulletin 2336 to ensure certain fasteners in the wing structure are properly installed. These fasteners may have been missing from the factory.

When: Complete this work before the aircraft accumulates 100 hours of flight time after 22 March 1990, or at the next scheduled maintenance check after that date—whichever happens later.

Why it matters: Missing fasteners could compromise the structural integrity of the wing, posing a safety risk to flight operations.
