Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of listed Beechcraft 1900D aircraft to inspect, within 25 flight hours, for wiring or other components forward of the instrument panel that could become entangled in the flight‑control “T” column and to secure any items found according to Raytheon Service Bulletin SB 27‑3232. It responds to a reported temporary loss of aileron and elevator when wiring restricted the control column. Operators (owners) pay for the inspection and fixes; maintenance organisations perform the work under the SB; CASA enforces compliance.
