AD/BEA 121/12 - Front Seat Restraint Installation - CANCELLED

What this is: This document officially cancels an old aviation safety rule (Airworthiness Directive 121/12) that applied to Beagle B121 Pup aircraft.

What the old rule did: Originally issued in 1972, it required installation of shoulder harnesses (upper torso restraints) in the front seats of these specific light aircraft, but only for planes certified before 1967.

What happens now: As of 17 January 2008, this specific rule no longer applies. The requirement has been moved into a broader, general directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1) that covers all aircraft types, rather than having separate rules for each plane model.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Beagle B121 (Pup) series aircraft, who are now covered by the general directive instead of this specific one.
