Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of the listed BAe 146 Series 200 aircraft to inspect underhead radiused rivets on fuselage areas that have been skin‑polished and to measure skin thickness beside any severely abraded rivets, using BAe Systems Mandatory Service Bulletin 53‑087 (Rev 1 or 2). CASA issued the AD after reports of abraded rivets found during paint removal. Operators must carry out and pay for the inspections and any repairs; CASA enforces compliance under the AD.
