Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates that all BAe 146 operators comply with Avro International Aerospace Mandatory Service Bulletin 32-143 (effective 7 Dec 1995) to inspect/rectify the main landing gear direction link sub‑assembly after reports of heavy thread corrosion and a component failure. It makes the manufacturer’s corrective actions compulsory, placing the cost, execution and record‑keeping burden on aircraft owners; technical details and alternatives are only in the referenced service bulletin.
