Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of specified BAe 146 Series 100/100A (to serial E1017) and Series 200/200A (to serial E2048) to carry out the corrective actions in British Aerospace Alert S.B.25-A57 by 30 April 1986.

It responds to a report of incorrectly routed evacuation-slide lanyards causing inverted deployments; operators must arrange and pay for the mandated inspection/repair per the manufacturer’s alert to eliminate that failure mode.
