This CASA Airworthiness Directive orders operators of early-production Boeing 767s (line numbers 1–488) to inspect and repair leading-edge slat wedges after reports of damage and disbonding—two incidents involved parts detaching in flight.

It requires compliance with FAA AD 93-14-19 and Boeing Service Bulletin 767-57A0039 Rev 1 to prevent potential handling and control hazards from loose or lost wedge components.
