| Background: | The failure of a pivot fitting pin on the B767 major fatigue test article was attributed to improper manufacture. This directive is prompted by the discovery that a number of these parts were improperly manufactured.This amendment is issued to update the requirement document revision status.The original issue of this AD became effective on 31 July 1985. |
