Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of Boeing 767s fitted with PRSOV part numbers 773288‑4 or 773288‑5 to carry out inspections and modifications specified in Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 767‑36A0015. It responds to a reported PRSOV failure that damaged pneumatic ducting, jammed flaps and broke throttle controls, so compliance by operators and maintenance organisations is needed to restore airworthiness. Operators bear the costs; the CAA enforces the requirement.
