Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of Boeing 767s (only those on which Boeing Service Bulletin 767-25-0036 has been done) to carry out the corrective work in Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 767-25A0109 Revision 2 by 31 March 1991 unless already completed. It was issued because an interference could prevent escape‑slide deployment and full door opening in an evacuation. The rule affects affected aircraft owners/operators, imposes maintenance cost and scheduling impact, and references the FAA AD as related guidance.
