Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Boeing 767 aircraft fitted with AlliedSignal I.P. check valves (part numbers 3202164-2 or -4) to inspect those valves in accordance with Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 767-36A0030 (or Revision 1). The inspection must be done at the next scheduled “A” Check or within 250 flight hours.

CASA’s delegate issued the amendment to remove the prior repetitive-inspection requirement; aircraft operators must carry out and fund the inspection to address valve failures that have been linked to engine compressor stalls.
