Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Boeing 767 aeroplanes that have Service Bulletin 767-25-0051 incorporated to modify the off‑wing escape slide latching mechanism per Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 767-25A0104 Rev 2.

The work — replacing the integrator hook and reworking the integrator assembly before 31 December 1989 — addresses inadvertent slide deployments traced to an incorrectly adjusted actuator nut, imposing a mandatory safety maintenance obligation on affected operators.
