Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document is an Airworthiness Directive (AD) that cancels a previous safety rule about emergency escape slides on Boeing 767 aeroplanes.

What it does

Revokes (cancels) Airworthiness Directive AD/B767/18 Amdt 1, which previously required specific actions regarding off-wing escape slide systems on Boeing 767 aircraft.
Removes the legal obligation for aircraft operators to comply with the requirements of the old directive.

Who it affects

Owners and operators of Boeing 767 series aircraft who were previously required to follow AD/B767/18 Amdt 1.

Why it matters

Operators no longer need to follow the specific requirements of the old directive, as these have been replaced by a newer directive (AD/B767/84).
This streamlines regulatory compliance by consolidating the safety requirements into the updated directive.
