| Compliance: | Before 31 July 2007. |
| This Amendment becomes effective on 9 July 2013. | |
| Background: | This amendment recognises approved revisions of the service bulletin as being acceptable. The original compliance date remains unchanged. This Directive requires modification of the right main landing gear and auto-speedbrake control system to provide an air/ground signal to the system. The modification provides a second air/ground signal to the auto-speedbrake control system, which is designed to prevent uncommanded deployment of the auto-speedbrake spoilers during flight. Uncommanded deployment of the auto-speedbrake spoilers could result in reduced controllability of the aeroplane. |
