This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of specified Boeing 767 line-numbered aircraft to inspect and, if needed, rework or replace flight‑compartment air‑distribution ducting and its water‑line heater tape, and later to replace certain foam insulation. It references FAA AD 2001‑26‑09 and a Boeing service bulletin. The stated purpose is to prevent ignition of duct insulation and a possible in‑flight fire, so affected operators must complete the mandated tasks by the stated deadlines.
