Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of the listed Boeing 767 aircraft to inspect the entry/service door inner window (dust cover) every 90 days or less and to complete Boeing Service Bulletin 767-25A0092’s modification by 19 June 1989. It responds to a loose dust cover that can obstruct the upper liner and prevent full door opening; inspections are interim measures until the mandatory one‑time modification, which eliminates the recurring inspection burden.
