The AD introduced an upgrade program and a repetitive inspection program to identify the onset of cracking. This amendment is in response to FAA AD 2006-10-08. The amendment maintains the existing requirements for certain serial number aeroplanes, introduces additional inspection requirements, revises some of the intervals and introduces a terminating action to the repetitive inspection requirements. The original issue of this AD became effective 13 June 2002. |
