Background:	The manufacturer reports component failures in the entry/service door counterbalance and trolley assemblies.Amendment 1 to this Directive, effective 14 July 1988, reflected Revision 2 to SB 767-52-0044 which required an inspection for improperly manufactured aft entry/service door roller side tracks and repairs as necessary. This amendment updates the revision status of two of the Boeing Service Bulletins. All Australian registered aircraft should have already complied with this AD. This amendment is issued to ensure that confusion does not occur about the revision status of the referenced service bulletins. The original issue of this AD became effective on 31 January 1987.
