Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Boeing 767 aeroplanes fitted with certain Circle Seal Controls motor‑operated hydraulic shutoff valves to carry out operational checks following Boeing service instructions and to replace any malfunctioning valves with approved serviceable parts. Checks must be repeated until the mandated replacement action is completed. CASA (by delegate) mandates compliance; aircraft operators and maintenance organisations pay for inspections, parts and downtime. The directive is issued to correct an identified unsafe condition and relies on Boeing service bulletins and an FAA AD for procedures and prior‑compliance acceptance.
