Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive legally requires operators of the Boeing 747 models listed in Boeing Service Bulletin 747-57-2206, Revision 1 to inspect and replace trailing edge flap track fuse bolts per the incorporated service bulletin.

It affects all listed 747 operators because those fuse bolts secure the trailing edge flaps; checking and replacing them prevents flap failure and preserves flight safety. This amendment updates the reference to Boeing’s latest bulletin (Rev. 1).
