This AD mandates that operators of the Boeing 747‑400 aircraft listed in Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 747‑23A2241 Rev 3 carry out the bulletin’s corrective/inspection work before 2 April 1993 to fix chafed ACESS wire bundles that have caused shorts and burned wiring.
