Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

CASA requires certain Boeing 737‑300s modified by STC SA2969S0 (as listed in Pemco Service Bulletin 737‑52‑0012 Rev.2) to have the forward and aft main‑deck cargo‑door hinge shims and lower hinge fairings replaced per Pemco's procedure. Operators must complete the work before 12,000 post‑STC landings or 15 December 1995, whichever is later; the aim is to prevent hinge failure, cargo‑door loss and rapid decompression. Operators bear the cost and scheduling burden.
