Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of certain Boeing 737-300/-400 aircraft to carry out the Air Cruisers Service Bulletin 103-25-17 on forward door evacuation slides with specified part and serial numbers, making that SB mandatory and enforceable before 9 August 1993. It affects operators and maintenance organisations, shifts costs and scheduling burden to operators, and aims to fix a reported risk that affected slides may not auto‑inflate during evacuation.
