Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires operators of Boeing 737s (line positions 1–1587) to carry out the maintenance in Boeing Service Bulletin 737‑52A1105 Revision 2 by 31 July 1990. It’s prompted by unsafe sealant application that can prevent cockpit blowout panels from operating under >1.5 psi, risking floor damage and control‑cable interference. Operators must comply and bear the inspection/repair costs; the AD aligns with the FAA.
