| Requirement: | Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 2008-11-03 Amdt 39-15525. |
| Compliance: | As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of31 July 2008. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 31 July 2008. | |
| Background: | The FAA received a report of incidents involving fatigue cracking in transport category aircraft that are approaching or have exceeded their design service objective. The actions required by this Directive are intended to maintain the continued structural integrity of the entire fleet of Model 737-100, -200, and -200C series aircraft. |
