Applicability:	All Model 737-100, -200, and 200C series aircraft, as listed in Boeing Service Bulletin (SB) 737-53-1048; without bolt replacement accomplished in accordance with Figure 1 of SB 737-53-1048, or later FAA approved revision.
Requirement:	Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 78-04-02Amdt 39-3267.
Compliance:	As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of13 April 2006.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 13 April 2006.
Background:	This Directive requires inspection/check of all attach bolts of the two horizontal stabiliser hinge outboard fittings for security. Repeat inspection/checks are required until replacement of the bolts, which constitutes terminating action for the inspection/checks.
