Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive orders airlines and other operators of Boeing 737-600/700/700C/800/900 series aircraft in Australia to inspect engine mounts for misassembly of the Centre Link Assembly, following FAA AD 2003-03-01.

It aims to detect and correct defects that could cause engine-mount failure — and in the worst case, engine separation — protecting aircraft structural integrity and flight safety.
