Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of specified Boeing 737 models to replace certain battery chargers and batteries and to test the Generator Control Unit diode CR910. For 737‑100/‑200s with charger P/N 10‑60701‑1 the charger must be changed to P/N 10‑60701‑3 and the battery replaced; 737‑300/‑400/‑500s must replace their batteries. If the CR910 diode fails, the GCU and battery must be replaced and the test repeated until it passes. Work must follow Boeing AMM chapters; ASB incorporation is optional and allows MPD scheduling. Operators bear the compliance cost; licensed maintainers perform the work.
